This scholarship was established by Ellen Burke Smith in memory of her husband Henry DeWitt Smith. Henry's inspired leadership, professional success, personal integrity, and boundless dedication was his heritage to the mining industry. The purpose of this scholarship is to benefit students pursuing a graduate degree in petroleum engineering or a related field. SPF membership is required to be eligible and applicants must comply with sanction policy.
