High School Scholarship

National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) Foundation

The scholarship provides funding to high school seniors preparing to enter college with the intention of graduating with a degree in a strength and conditioning field. Students must demonstrate their acceptance into an accredited institution, their intention to graduate with a degree in the strength and conditioning field, their goals beyond college, and their track record of community service.

    3.0
  • Financial Need:
    Preferred
  • College:
    Will be attending college in the Fall following high school graduation
  • Major/Career:
    Will major in a strength and conditioning-related field
  • Organization:
    Must be NSCA Members at the application deadline

Application Details

  • Judging Criteria:
    Items judged by the NSCAF Review Committee in each application include: Grades/GPA; Courses Completed; Overall Academic Achievement; Strength and Conditioning Experience; NSCA Involvement; Honors and Awards; Community Involvement; Clarity of Essay and Expression of Goals and Financial Need; and Letters of Recommendation

    Provide a descriptive essay. Describe your personal and professional goals and how receiving this scholarship will assist you in achieving these goals.
  • Recommendation Letters:
    Three (3) letters of recommendation
  • Other Materials:
    Must verify their acceptance into an accredited academic institution for the fall semester via an official letter from their college of choice; For applicants under the age of 18 years, the application form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian
