Hokuli`a Foundation Scholarship Fund

Hawaii Community Foundation

The scholarship was established by the collaboration of the Board of the Hokuli'a Foundation and Hawai'i Community Foundation to provide financial assistance to students who are pursuing a degree in healthcare, education or social work in an accredited, two or four-year, not-for-profit institution within the US and who are demonstrating an emphasis in advancing Native Hawaiian culture.

  • Other Academic Requirements:
    Attend as a full-time student (as determined by your schools financial aid office)
  • Residence:
    Resident of the State of Hawaii; Resident of North or South Kona
  • College:
    Attend an accredited, two or four-year, not-for-profit institution within the US
  • Major/Career:
    Plan to study in the fields of Healthcare, Education, or Social Work
  • Miscellaneous:
    Preference is given to students demonstrating an emphasis in advancing Native Hawaiian culture

    In a separate essay, elaborate on your community service and describe how your future career may benefit the lives of Hawaii residents and/or advance Native Hawaiian culture upon completion of your education.
