This scholarship fund was established in memory of Marcus Allen Ford to benefit students from Christiansburg High School planning to enroll at any two or four-year college or university in Virginia. Preference is given to students attending New River Community College. Marcus Allen Ford was a person who loved his family, a friend to all, had exceptional academic abilities, and good sportsmanship in the home, at school, and on the playing field, and so applicants for this scholarship should exemplify those characteristics.
