The scholarship is established in honor of Margaret Johnson to support female graduating senior of Mt. Vernon High School who have been accepted into a postsecondary educational institution and planning to pursue a bachelors degree in education, business, and/or accounting. Selection will be based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community involvement.
