Ventura County Community Foundation

The scholarship is awarded to graduating senior from any high school in Ventura County who will pursue a degree in Agriculture or an agriculture-related subject such as Agricultural Business at an accredited public or private four-year college or university in the United States. Also, applicants must be the child of a Farm Bureau of Ventura County member or the child of an employee of a Farm Bureau of Ventura County member. Preference in the selection process will be given to students who have a demonstrated interest and involvement in agriculture as evidenced by the school, community, and volunteer activities.

    There are specific prompts during the application process. VCCF selection committees consider student essays as narrative pictures of applicants. Essays must be a total of 500-700 words overall.
