West Virginia Engineering, Science and Technology Scholarship

West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission

This scholarship was established for the purpose of encouraging and assisting academically talented individuals to pursue careers in the fields of engineering, science and technology. Eligible applicants are students residing in West Virginia and must agree to work full-time in an engineering, science or technology field in West Virginia for one year for each year the scholarship was received. In cases where students failed to fulfill the work requirement, they must be willing to repay the scholarship received plus interest.

    Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an engineering, science, or technology program leading to a certificate or an associate or bachelors degree at an eligible institution of higher education.

    3.0

  • Residence:
    Resident Alien (or United States Citizen); Priority is given to West Virginia residents.
  • Citizenship:
    A United States Citizen (or resident alien)
  • College:
    Certificate or an associate or bachelor's degree at an eligible institution of higher education.
  • Major/Career:
    Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an engineering, science, or technology program
  • Extracurricular:
    Begin an approved program of community service related to engineering, science or technology.
  • Miscellaneous:
    Agree to work full-time in an engineering, science or technology field in West Virginia for one year for each year the scholarship was received
