Scholarships for Architecture Majors

A career in architecture can be immensely exciting, fulfilling and rewarding. But before you can see your sketches come to life, you have to get your architecture degree – and that means figuring out a way to pay tuition. Fortunately, there are numerous scholarship opportunities for architecture majors. These scholarships are intensely competitive, and are generally awarded on the basis of academic merit. Private foundations are the most common source of architecture scholarships. Academic institutions, professional organizations and corporate entities also award these scholarships. Often, applicants are asked to submit letters of recommendation from teachers or architecture professionals, along with their transcripts and other relevant documents.
