Scholarships for Illinois Residents

There are many students looking to continue their education in their home state of Illinois. There are also many opportunities for those students to ease the pressure on their bank account by applying to one of the many scholarships reserved just for residents and students of Illinois. The Illinois state government supports students by awarding scholarships to students with financial need or show academic success. Local governments and non-profit foundations, as well as Illinois based corporations, also offer scholarships to in-state students. To be eligible for these, you’ll need to be either an Illinois resident or studying at an accredited institution based in Illinois. In many cases, financial need is taken into account.
