Scholarships for International Relations Majors

Students of International Relations can change the world – after they’ve completed their degree and managed to pay for it, of course. Luckily for them, there are a number of scholarships awarded specifically to students of International Relations. Recognizing the need for experts in this important field, private donors, non-governmental organizations and universities offer a variety of financial aid and scholarships for IR scholars. To apply for one of these scholarships, you may need to provide a transcript, and you will probably have to have a GPA of at least a 3.0, perhaps higher. Some scholarships are awarded based on financial need, and others are for minority students or other groups.
