Scholarships for Physical Therapy Majors

Physical Therapy is a popular area of study, and for a good reason – it is a growing market. But if the rising costs of education are making you think twice about getting a degree in physical therapy, you should know there are scholarships out there to help you pay your way. Many physical therapy programs at accredited universities offer scholarships to enrolled students. Private foundations, local service clubs and industry organizations also offer scholarships to aspiring physical therapists. Requirements for these scholarships may include good academic standing, demonstration of financial need, evidence of community service and a student-submitted essay outlining academic and career goals.
