This is a 14-week internship at the Scripps Howard Foundation Wire in downtown Washington. Interns work as reporters in Washington, they report, write, take photos and shoot videos of breaking news and news features. They also talk with experts at the Capitol, the Supreme Court, the Student Press Law Center, the Washington Post, the Pentagon and others to better understand how to cover the news. The internship is open to college juniors and seniors studying print, online, broadcast or visual journalism.
