Scholarships for Tourism Majors

Tourism Majors study global trends related to tourism and travel. However, before they can start globetrotting and jetsetting, Tourism Majors must first pay for their college education. If you’re trying to figure out how to cover the cost of your degree in Tourism, you might want to consider applying for one or more college scholarships. Some are provided by various organizations and foundations such as the American Bar Association, The Network of the Hospitality Industry and the Tribal Business Management Program. Others are offered by individual schools and universities with Hospitality programs such as Michigan State University, Cornell University, the University of Nevada at Las Vegas and Virginia Tech. In general, applying students will need to meet a minimum grade point average, obtain letters of recommendation, demonstrate a certain level of financial need or be a certain gender or ethnicity.
