Scholarships for Arizona Residents

If you live in Arizona, then you already have easy access to mountains, canyons, forests full of pine trees and deserts full of cacti. However, you might not be aware that simply being a resident of Arizona may grant you access to a variety of college scholarships. Many of the available scholarships are funded by state organizations, such as the Arizona Commission for Post-Secondary Education, while others are provided by statewide private organizations, such as the Arizona Community Foundation and the Arizona College Scholarship Foundation. Additionally, some scholarships are offered by individual universities, including Maricopa Community College, the University of Arizona, Central Arizona College and Northern Arizona University. Applying students will usually need to meet a minimum grade point average, provide official transcripts or submit an essay. If you live in Arizona and you’d like to find out more about scholarships for residents, keep reading below.
