Cheerleading Scholarships

Paying for a college education is no easy task, but you can find something to cheer about if you're looking to get help with a scholarship. While other sports might come to mind when you think about athletic scholarships, there are plenty of awards out there for those who have spent their high school years waving pom-poms and cheering on their teams. Most of these cheerleading scholarships are available from individual colleges and universities with cheer teams. These awards can range from hundreds of dollars up to $7,500 or more for talented and academically gifted cheerleaders. In some cases, applicants may need to demonstrate financial need, reside in the school's state and possess a minimum GPA. Privately-funded scholarships for cheerleading are also available from community foundations or athletic associations, such as the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators and local cheer associations. Read through the list below to get more details about cheerleading scholarships you can really rally behind!
