Association of Information Technology Professionals Scholarship is offered to the residents of the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. The program awards a $1,000 funds to students who wants to pursue their college education. The awardee must be pursuing a major in Computer Information Systems of Computer Science at West Texas A&M University or Amarillo College.

    Applicants must be residents of the top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. The applicant must be a legal permanent resident (or U.S. citizen).
  • Citizenship:
    The applicant must be a U.S. Citizen (or a legal permanent resident).
  • College:
    The awardee must attend West Texas A&M University or Amarillo College.
  • Major/Career:
    The applicant must major in Computer Information Systems of Computer Science.

  • Recommendation Letters:
    Two (2) letters of recommendation - one letter should be from a teacher you had in high school and the second letter should be from a pastor, employer, coach, mentor, etc. Letters written by family members are not permitted.
  • Other Materials:
    Applicant must submit their proof of U.S. Citizenship (photocopy of U.S. birth certificate) or legal permanent residency status, ACT and/or SAT scores (if scores appear on the back of your high school transcript, no additional documents are necessary), page one (1) of current year IRS tax Form 1040 for household (if current year is not available, previous year will be accepted).
