Irene Straus Scholarship

Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, Inc.

This scholarship was established in honor of Irene Straus, a founding member of the Garden Center Club which began in 1962 with the primary purpose of establishing a garden center. Irene was involved in garden club work for over 30 years who is dedicated making Madison a beautiful place. This scholarship in her honor benefits incoming college junior or senior, or postgraduate students enrolled in the study of horticulture, landscaping, environmental sciences, conservation, forestry, or other similar fields of study.
