The scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to students of Hawaii who pursuing a degree in pharmacy in an accredited, two or four-year, not-for-profit institution within the US. It was created in memory of Shelly Williams who was one compounding pharmacists in Hawaii.

    Preference is given to students intending to return to practice on Hawaii Island as reflected in students personal statement.
