Sponsored by the SAE Foundation through the generous support of the Yanmar America Corporation, the Yanmar/SAE Scholarship was established to promote their philosophy. Yanmar is deeply committed to all aspects of marine transportation, agriculture, construction and general manufacturing industries and is the largest manufacturer of non-vehicle-use diesel engines.

Eligibility Requirements
- Age/Grade Level:Full-time college junior or post-graduate student

- Other Academic Requirements:This relates to the 90th percentile on the national score (not state).
- Residence:U.S. Resident
- Major/Career:Pursue an engineering or related science degree through an ABET accredited program;Pursue course of study or research related to the conservation of energy in transportation, agriculture & construction, and power generation. Emphasis will be placed on research or study related to the internal combustion engine.
- Miscellaneous:Applications will be judged on the basis of previous scholastic performance.
