Scholarships for Humanities Majors

A degree in the humanities can open the doors to a sorts of careers. Students majoring in the humanities can go on to become journalists, lawyers, historians, writers, filmmakers, editors and more, depending on their interests and skills. A scholarship can help you to cover that cost of your humanities degree. Perhaps the most prestigious scholarship for humanities majors is the Beinecke Scholarship, which requires potential recipients to be nominated by their college. Other available scholarships are funded by individual universities, including San Francisco State University, Ohio State University, Montana State University and the University of Utah.
