Scholarships for Indiana Residents

In addition to numerous lakes, rivers and picturesque rolling hills, Indiana is also home to world-class athletic teams and sporting events such as the Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana Pacers and the Indianapolis 500. As an added bonus, many residents may also qualify for a variety of college scholarships, simply by being a Hoosier. A number of the available scholarships are funded by the state of Indiana, including the Frank O’Bannon Grant Program, the Indiana Part-Time Grant Award, the 21st Century Scholars Program and the Indiana National Guard Supplemental Grant. Others are provided by individual universities, such as Purdue University, Butler University, Indiana State University and the Indiana Institute of Technology. Potential recipients will usually be required to meet a minimum grade point average, and may also need to demonstrate financial need, obtain letters of recommendation or be pursuing a specific course of study.
