Scholarships for Loudon County (TN) Residents
From the Tellico Dam to Fort Loudoun Lake to Lenoir City Park, there are a lot of beautiful things to look at in Loudon County, Tennessee. If you’d rather be looking at a college textbook, however, you might want to consider applying for a college scholarship: Your status as a resident of Loudon County alone could make you eligible. Some of the available scholarships are provided by the East Tennessee Foundation, six of which are exclusively reserved for Loudon County residents. Others are funded by nearby colleges, such as Roane State Community College, Maryville College, Hiwassee College, Tennessee Wesleyan College and the University of Tennessee. In general, potential recipients will need to meet a minimum grade point average, demonstrate a certain level of financial need, provide proof of academic achievements or obtain letters of recommendation.
