This scholarship was started in 1993 to benefit full-time college students majoring in Mass Communications/ Broadcasting at either Louisiana State University or Southern University. This scholarship is intended to promote the study of broadcast journalism at Louisiana State University and Southern University.

Eligibility Requirements
- Age/Grade Level:Scholarship awards will be made available to full-time college students
- Minimum GPA:3.0
- Financial Need:Not Required
- Other Academic Requirements:All candidate must have earned at least 60 hours minimum, 90 hours maximum credits toward a communications/broadcast degree.
- College:Scholarship awards will be made available to full-time college students who are majoring in Mass Communications/ Broadcasting at either Louisiana State University or Southern University.
- Major/Career:Scholarship awards will be made available to full-time college students who are majoring in Mass Communications/ Broadcasting.
