Scholarships for Public Relations Majors

If you're pursuing a public relations degree, you're already aware of the power of the written word. Well, you might be able to put your communication skills to use helping to pay for college. Many scholarships available to public relations majors, after all, require the submission of a personal essay. Other requirements may include providing letters of recommendation, maintaining a minimum GPA or pursuing a specific emphasis within the filed. Financial need also may be considered. Many of the available scholarships are sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America, including some that reward academic achievement, some that benefit students of certain ethnicities or genders and some that recognize leadership.
