Scholarships for Technology Majors

Technology is among the most popular fields of study for college students. And because demand for technology professionals continues to rise, there are many scholarships available to help technology majors complete their studies and earn degrees in subjects like computer science, information technology and Web design, among others. Private foundations and academic institutions administer some of these scholarships. Others are offered by corporations in the technology industry. Many scholarships for technology majors are merit-based, and applicants often must meet a minimum GPA requirement to qualify. Some of these scholarships, however, consider financial need, and others give preference to minority and female students. Applicants who are able to demonstrate their own initiatives and advances in a particular field of technology will likely have a leg up. If you are majoring in technology, find a scholarship to meet your needs from the list below.
