Scholarships for Work Ethic

It takes a strong work ethic to excel in school. It also takes financial resources. In order to assist hard-working students to achieve their academic aspirations, there are many scholarships out there that recognize outstanding work ethic. Several of these scholarships – which are awarded by foundations, professional associations and other groups – are reserved for graduating high school students who plan to attend accredited 2- and 4-year schools. Others are open to students already enrolled in college. In addition to demonstrating their strong work ethic through letters of recommendation and an essay, applicants for these scholarships also often have to meet a minimum GPA requirement. In some instances, there is a secondary requirement that applicants are pursuing a specified major, such as engineering or journalism.
